One of the most interesting and cool new features that Samsung added in the Galaxy S4 is the Air Gesture and Air View feature. You can actually activate the screen without really touching it with you finger. The idea is the same as with the Galaxy Note 2, just that this time you don’t require a S-Pen to do this.

How does Air View and Air Gesture work?

You can preview content such as calendar events, E-mails, Links, photos by simply hovering your finger over the object you want to preview and the screen will almost immediately sense your finger and initiate action. You can also preview parts of a video by placing your finger above the video progress bar.

Air Gesture allows you to browse the web, photos, accept calls or change music. Thanks to the sensibility of the screen, you can now actually use the display when you are wearing gloves. So that’s one great feature.

What do you think about the Air View and Air Gesture features from Samsung? Are they good enough to make the Galaxy S4 the best device out there?
