If something happens to your device during the installation we cannot be held responsible for the damage. However if you follow step by step instructions, there’s nothing to worry about.

Before proceeding with the installation we recommend you perform several actions:

– Install all USB driver for you Samsung Galaxy Duos

– Enable USB debugging from Settings

– Charge your phone to more than 70% battery

– Perform a full data backup for unexpected situations

– Make sure your device is factory unlocked

Step 5: On Odin, click on PDA. Select the .tar file that you extracted from the archive. It should have ‘CODE’ in its name. Press START.

Step 6: Wait a few minutes until the update is installed. After that wait a few minutes for the phone to reboot.

If you followed the steps precisely, then you should now have Android 4.0.4 installed on your Galaxy S Duos. If during the update installation the phone gets stuck, remove the battery and restart the entire process. Sometimes this happens.
