How to use Swipe on Samsung Galaxy S4
Swipe keyboard is one of the best feature for those who use their Samsung Galaxy S4 for messages, emails or other things that imply texts. You can use the voice recognition future to write easier and faster texts. Also, Swipe can predict words that you type. So, you can activate the future when you type a text by accessing the Notification Panel, Select input method and Swipe. Also, you can activate it from Settings, My device, Language and input, Default and then Swipe.
How to connect with Swipe
First, you will be asked to register your device. If you use the Notification Panel way to use Swipe for the first time, you will have to follow the steps below:
Tap continue on the first screen.
Now, you will have to enter your email and tap Register.
Tap Accept after you read the Terms of Service.
Now, you will be asked for help to improve the application. You will tap Contribute usage data if you want to improve something or Cancel if you don’t.
Tap Start Swyping.
After that, you will receive a validation code on your email and you will have to register your device using the code. Follow the way: Menu, Settings, My device, Language and input, Settings, Swipe connect and then Enter validation code.
How to Swipe
You can add double letters to your words by looping one letter like the example below.
The feature is providing you a list of words when more than one word can match your typing. So, you will scroll the list and choose the word that you want to use.
Also, you can add personal words to your Swipe. You can add nicknames or whatever you want to type faster on your Samsung Galaxy S4.
The most used feature of Swipe is voice recognition. You can easily add text by speaking to your microphone. Swipe will recognize the words and the screen will show them automatically.
You will find Settings for Swipe by accessing Menu, Settings and Language and input. So, you can customize settings like: Gestures, How to Swipe, Preferences, Language options, Swipe connect, Personalization and Updates.
